Logan Manzanares is a type one diabetic who has used his own experiences to become an expert in the field of health and fitness. He is the author of "Protein First" and the creator of the tiered protein list, which has helped him and his family maintain a healthy lifestyle.
He decided to make a change in his life when he was in the hospital being treated for type 1 diabetes.He began by working with Dr. Kashey, nutrition coach to develop a simple diet called Protein First. This diet worked so well that his whole family started adopting it. He then developed a tiered protein list to help people understand what a protein is and how much protein they should be eating. The list has five tiers, with tier one being the highest quality protein sources.
"And so in that moment, I started thinking about all the ways that this could be the best thing ever happened to me. And right after that, started taking action."
